Nicolet College - Presidential candidate withdraws application

Candidate withdraws from
Nicolet College presidential search

Kerry Youngblood, a finalist candidate for the president's position at Nicolet College, has withdrawn his application for the post. Youngblood informed Nicolet Friday morning that he has accepted a presidency at a different college.

Therefore, the public forum scheduled for Youngblood at Nicolet Thursday, Feb. 12, has been cancelled.

The next public forum for a presidential candidate will be Wednesday, Feb. 18, with Elizabeth Burmaster, followed by forums Thursday, Feb. 19, with Jim Brown, and Friday, Feb. 20, with George Karling. All forums will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Nicolet Theatre on the college's Rhinelander campus.

Finalist Ray Nadolny participated in a forum Feb. 5. A video of that event can be viewed on the college's homepage. Once there, click on the Presidential Search Finalists link.

Adrian Lorbetske, Nicolet president for the past 18 years, is planning to retire June 30.
