Nicolet College - Vietnam film preview 6:30 p.m. tonight at Rhinelander library

Nicolet, Rhinelander libraries partner
to show Wisconsin Vietnam War Stories preview tonight

A special preview version of the film Wisconsin Vietnam War Stories is coming to the Northwoods with a showing at 6:30 p.m., Monday, May 3, at the Rhinelander District Library Meeting Room.

The event is free and open to the public.

The documentary by Wisconsin Public Television centers around stories from Wisconsin’s Vietnam War veterans and their experiences during the war.

The showing May 3 will be a shortened version of the film. A facilitated discussion will follow.

Wisconsin Public Television will air the full, three-hour version of the documentary in late May.

The Rhinelander District Library and the Nicolet College Library received a Reel to Real grant to show the preview version of the film. Reel to Real is a partnership between Wisconsin Public Television and the Wisconsin Library Association, which makes PBS films and other resources available to libraries for local screening and community engagement events.
