For the second consecutive year student recruitment materials produced by Nicolet College were selected as the best in the nation in a recent marketing competition for two-year community and technical colleges from across the country.

Nicolet took home three Paragon Awards - two golds and a bronze - in the competition sponsored by the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR). NCMPR is the industry organization for marketing professionals at two-year colleges across the country.

“Marketing materials help provide prospective students with a sense of what a college has to offer and are a crucial aid in helping them decide what school is best for them,” said Nicolet College President Elizabeth Burmaster. “For Nicolet to have its work recognized nationally as being ‘the best’ in presenting important college information is a great accomplishment.”

Nicolet communications staff who created the award-winning pieces were Jamie Pomasl and Sondra Llanos.

For the second year in a row the college received a gold award for its student viewbook. The other gold award the college received was in the brochure/flyer category. The bronze award came in the wild card category for an integrated marketing campaign that encouraged students to stay in college.
